A very important step is of conditioning the
mind into calmness. Now this cannot come when you are fire-fighting an emotionally
turbulent situation, but it has to be incorporated during calmer times - times
when emotions are in control. And the way to do is by getting the mind
habituated to meditation. Meditation is
a mental technique which strengthens the ‘mental-muscle’, increases awareness
and stills the mind. A still mind is able to read from all angles any given
situation and when it understands the situation from different angles, the
still mind graduates into a discerning mind. With regular practice of even
twice a week of just 10-15 minutes per sitting, this strengthening and
advancement of the conscious mind is subtle, yet sure. So incorporate even just
10-15 minutes of the Meditation on Gold,
and you will find a huge difference of how you are able to use your conscious
mind to focus as well as be aware along with the unsurpassed quality of
stillness. Emotional turbulence will be a thing of the past, guaranteed.
